NSW Police currently work with communities, schools, and sporting clubs throughout NSW to reinforce awareness amongst young people on issues such as:
- Drugs and the law
- Alcohol
- Cyber safety
- Harassment and assault
- Road safety and Traffic
- Legal rights and responsibilities
- Mobile phone bullying
Youth Liaison Officers, School Liaison Police and Crime Prevention Officers are specialised police who work with schools and the community to educate, assist and inform youth of the risks and consequences of actions, and importantly how to prevent becoming a victim of crime.
